There is no one alternative medicine to make anyone feel happy. Happiness is an elusive concept and generally depends on a healthy body and a clear conscience. And paying all your credit card each month! However, a good Vit B complex will strengthen the nervous system and iron rich foods.broccoli, spinach, eggs, will also boost your system. |

ACUPUNCTURE! It's wonderful and not expensive. Treats depression as well as a variety of other ailments. The needles don't hurt, they are as thin as a hair. Be open to the acupuncturist you see so they can treat you in the best way. Massages help too. Keep in mind, it is healthy to be sad sometimes ;) |

St John's Wort, a mild antidepressant. A doctor gave it to me when I lived in Germany and it really helped. it should help you feel more positive, just dont take more than the recommended dose because it can give you high blood pressure. the vitamin shoppe sells it, I think. |

Vitamin C & B12. Hops & Valerian Root. After a while if that helps take Niacin. |

Acupuncture is complete bunk and St. John's Wort does work but it also interacts negatively with almost every medicine you can think of, over-the-counter or otherwise. I suggest you go to an actual doctor and tell them your dilemma. A doctor will give you something or at the least give you suggestions on what you can do to help yourself, especially if you mention that your lack of energy is having a severely negative impact on your life. |
